The 19-year-old had a healthy and varied diet until he left home three years ago.

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed his biggest headache in the battle against corruption in the country.

The Nigerian president, who spoke on Sunday, January 31, 2016, through his special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, noted that the nation’s judiciary remains his major headache.

President Buhari has reacted to the recent bomb attacks in Chibok market, Dolari Internally Displaced Person’s (IDP) camp in Borno State and the Gombi market in Adamawa State.

In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba and released this evening, President Buhari said the insurgents had suffered immensely from the sustained bombardments of their camps and hide outs by the Nigerian military and had resorted to using desperate measures to gain cheap media attention.

Natalie Marie Keepers, a Virginia Tech sophomore, has been charged in connection with the death of Nicole Lovell.

Police announced the arrest of a second Virginia Tech student Sunday in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old girl.

Although it is illegal to climb the 146 metre high construction, Andrej threw caution to the wind and managed to make the climb in broad daylight, with a time of eight minutes. Former EFCC boss losses 39-year-old daughter

According to Punch, the Jackie, 39 died at an Abuja hospital in the early hours of Sunday.

The former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mrs. Farida Waziri, on Sunday, January 24, lost her daughter, Jackie Ifidon-Ola (nee Waziri), to an undisclosed ailment.
According to Punch, the Jackie, 39 died at an Abuja hospital in the early hours of Sunday.

CBN retains lending rate at 20%

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday resolved to leave the Monetary Policy Rate, MPR, and liquidity ratio unchanged at 11 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.

During its last meeting in November 2015, the committee had decided to cut MPR from 13 per cent to 11 per cent, the first time in six years, while Cash Reserve Requirement, CRR, was reduced from 25 per cent to 20 per cent.
