At least two persons were left injured while hundreds of residents of Agiliti community in the Mile 12 area of Lagos state were forced to take the first leg of their commute to work, Thursday morning, by foot following a spat between a group of commercial motorcyclists and some boys in the area.
Police and other law enforcement agents arrived the area and made efforts to restore law and order.

But more police vehicles are headed to the community, Thursday morning, after the “area boys’ prevented all motorcyclists from working.
The motorcyclists, who transport people from within the community to the bus-stop in Mile 12, have more Hausa men in their population.
As at the time of compiling this report, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Ketu Division, was trying to broker peace between the two parties.
Some residents have expressed their fears that the fight may degenerate further.
Many have died during similar fights between the Hausa and Yoruba communities in Mile 12 in times past.
