The Time Warner Cable says 320,000 customers’ information might’ve been compromised.

Time Warner Cable's customers' data may have been compromised.

according to Dailynews
The cable company reported on Wednesday that up to 320,000 customers might've had their email passwords stolen due to an unknown breach.

A spokesperson for the company said they are investigating the breach, that it's still not determined how the information was obtained.

TWC said the information was most likely gathered either through malware downloaded during phishing attacks or indirectly through data breaches of other companies that store TWC customer information such as emails.

Customers are currently being notified via email and direct mail to change their email passwords in order to avoid being hacked.
