PHOTO: BreakingNews: Boat Accident leaves 1 dead in Ikorodu

Via @InsideMainland Correspondent in Ikorodu reported that one person has died and several injured in a boat accident in Ikorodu.

A Victoria Island-bound boat, which was coming from the Orijin Jetty was said to have collided with another boat deep inside the Lagoon as heavy fog hindered the vision of the boat captains.


The impact of the collision was said to have split open the Victoria Island boat leaving two critically injured. They were rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital but sources from the hospital said one of them gave up.

Other injured passengers have been taken to Haruna Ogun hospital and other private hospitals.
