Miss Universe 2015: Steve Harvey addresses pageant blunder in Christmas Day quip

'Merry Easter, ya'll!'

Colombia may still be recovering from the shock of watching its beauty queen unceremoniously dethroned during Miss Universe, but it seems host Steve Harvey has finally seen the funny side of things.



Harvey had contestants holding their breath and Miss Colombia in floods of tears after announcing her as the winner, only to realise he had crowned the wrong woman Miss Universe 2015.

Flowers, sash and crown were hurriedly snatched back and handed to the actual winner, Miss Philippines, sending the world into a frenzy over the blunder.

A mortified Harvey was left apologising profusely for making the error in a series of Instagram posts and tweets. But days later - and as the furore finally begins to subside - he seems to have found the funny side of the debacle, captioning this picture: “Merry Easter y'all!”
